The drinker has a mayor problem.

The Nevada Appeal reports: "According to the arrest report, Teixeira told the trooper he'd had two drinks."
"He went on to say he didn't believe he had a drinking problem."
"If anything, he said, his weakness is socializing too long. Whether it's alcohol or cola being served, if the conversation keeps him engaged, he imbibes..."

He's got a socializing problem?

A call placed to the Old Globe Saloon looking for Marv at 10 a.m. this morning didn't turn anything up. "I was told this was his office," I said.
"Well," chuckled the guy who answered. "It's one of them."

I then called the mayor's office (775) 887-2100 and asked for Marv, thinking maybe he was sleeping one off on his office couch."This is a personal problem," said the dour lady who answered the phone. "Personal problem?" There's a 72-year-old lush driving drunk and speeding on our streets. But, yeah, that's his problem. "I'll give you his voice mail," she said.
